2022 Officers

2021 Report

The Trinity UCC Women’s Guild was not as active during 2021 due to COVID-19. The following is a list of projects and activities made possible by a team of not only Guild members but also volunteers from the Congregation and friends in the Community.

• Continued the policy of sending quarterly $50 donations to Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN), as well as monthly food donations

• Participated in filling goodie bags for Easter, Back-To-School and Christmas for the children at NHN. Along with the Christmas bags, we also sent along winter scarves, hats, mittens/gloves, and socks collected on our Mitten Tree

• We honored members for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day

• Assisted with mid-summer Trinity picnic. We were joined by members from Paradise UCC. After the meal, we had a Chinese auction.

• Together with Consistory members, we sponsored pulled pork sandwiches and bake sale items for the Turbotville Augustfest celebration

• Provided home-canned items for display at our Harvest Home celebration

• Set up candles for our All Saints Sunday in November

• Conducted the Thank Offering service and provided our own Dea Shader as speaker

• Decorated sanctuary and church for the Advent season, including Mitten Tree for NHN donations

• Assisted Consistory with Christmas party

• Together, Consistory and Guild members helped with the Christmas Eve service

With the start of a new year 2022, we are hoping to have a more productive year. Please come and join us. Meetings are after services on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
